We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Clinician in Pediatric Infectious Disease at Ascension Seton Northwest in Austin, Texas. About the Job

As a Nurse Clinician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implementing and monitoring patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Recording and communicating patient condition, as necessary.
  • Serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
  • Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelor's level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
