Overview

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the patient's care team to optimize clinical outcomes.
  • Oversee assigned teams and oversee the flow of the unit, identifying staffing needs.
  • Assess patients' physical, social, and emotional needs and serve as an advocate for patients and families.
  • Educate patients and family members on diagnosis, treatments, and medications.
  • Participate in the identification of patient needs for referral to resources that facilitate continuity of care.

Clinical Duties:

  • Administer medications, immunizations, and perform point-of-care testing.
  • Set up exam rooms and prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
  • Assist providers with exams and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience: Two years of nursing experience in an ambulatory clinic and/or hospital setting.

Certifications/Licenses: Unrestricted Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
