Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs regarding batteries, lighting solutions, and accessories. Provide tailored recommendations and solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Technical Services: Conduct battery testing, installations, and rebuild battery packs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow team members to contribute to the overall success of the store.

As a Sales Associate, you will be expected to lift over 50 pounds, possess a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation.

Essential Qualities: Integrity, dependability, a customer-first attitude, product knowledge, sales expertise, and a friendly team spirit are crucial for success in this role.


Customer Service Duties:
  • Perform sales and customer service tasks effectively.
  • Welcome customers promptly, assess their needs, and provide informative responses.
  • Propose additional sales items and actively participate in achieving sales targets.
  • Identify potential commercial clients through thoughtful questioning.
  • Utilize the computer and cash register for sales transactions.
  • Manage phone inquiries and ensure timely communication of messages.
  • Maintain store standards for inventory, property, and customer service.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and services.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently.
  • Embrace a proactive team-oriented approach.

Inventory Management:
  • Stock and rotate inventory, conducting counts as necessary.
  • Install batteries and perform technical tasks.
  • Handle product deliveries and organization of displays.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and maintain a visually appealing store.
  • Prepare the store for opening and closing procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for six months of relevant experience.
  • Previous retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to quickly learn about products, processes, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong listening and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Organizational and analytical problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Basic math skills for calculations and gauge readings.
  • Technical aptitude or experience is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean record is preferred.
