Senior Building Engineer Position

CBRE is seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Building Engineer, you will be responsible for performing sophisticated preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and/or HVAC/R equipment, machinery, and controls located in the interior and exterior of buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, maintain, monitor, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on building equipment, including mechanical/HVAC-R/plumbing systems, electrical/cabling, fire detection and suppression, life safety, lighting, temperature control systems, building management systems, and digital systems.
- Maintain the professional appearances of the property, equipment, engineering spaces, and common areas.
- Prepare estimates detailing the amount of time and materials needed for completing tasks.
- Maintain an energy management program to ensure measures are taken to operate all systems in the most efficient manner to keep operating costs at a minimum.
- Coordinate and inspect the work performed by outside contractors.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and trade school or training.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in electrical systems and/or HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Stationary Engineering experience that focuses heavily on HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing operation and maintenance.
- Backflow Assembly Testing (BAT) or Fire Loss Safety (FLS) certification is a plus.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
