Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Generalist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS). As a Security Generalist, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical and programmatic security of our F-35 facilities at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities
  • Physical security of assigned F-35 facilities at MCAS Beaufort.
  • Security participation in the Pilot Training Center and USMC F-35 Squadrons' integration and sustainment activities.
  • F-35 specific Special Access Program support, and the overall execution of contractual security requirements.
  • Access Control of all F-35 facilities, providing escort when required, and assisting in the planning, evaluation and execution of program security operations related to Special Access Program Facilities and Operations IAW current program and regulatory guidance.
  • Performing other Security Generalist duties in support of key GOV stakeholder, the F-35 Pilot Training Center, and USMC F-35 Squadrons as required.
Requirements
  • Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program if and when local mission requirements dictate.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) if/when mission requirements dictate.
  • Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
  • Basic knowledge of DoD Manual Volumes 1-4, DoD Manual Volumes 1-3, ICD 705 and associated Technical Specifications.
  • Works well independently and in group settings.
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
  • Experience working on Special Access Programs.
  • Prior experience with GSA containers, document control, and marking SAP information in accordance with DoD guidelines.
  • Experience working in a dynamic Military environment and be able to successfully interact daily with senior ranking USMC commissioned officers and key GOV stakeholders with confidence, poise and professionalism.
  • Comfortable making decisions autonomously and successfully operating in a military flying operations environment. Previous experience in military leadership and decision-making roles would be beneficial.
  • Familiarization with Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
  • Access Control and Physical Security experience, ability to perform assigned tasks, and 3 Years of experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized.
