Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of relevant experience, demonstrating:
- In-depth understanding of contemporary dietary practices, techniques, and terminology acquired through professional experience.
- Familiarity with modern tools, methods, and materials utilized in large-scale food service, along with a commitment to resource conservation.
- Capability to design menus and supervise staff in the preparation and delivery of both modified and standard diets.
- Skills to conduct training programs related to food service and nutrition.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the treatment team, medical professionals, administrative personnel, and patients.
- Prior experience in an inpatient setting, ideally within mental health, behavioral health, or substance misuse contexts.
- Certification as a registered dietitian from the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
