Job SummaryWe are seeking an Immunology Sales Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, clinics, and other health-related organizations within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Build and execute real-time business plans to ensure sales success
- Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Aurinia's product and communicate its clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals
- Demonstrate and maintain high levels of brand, disease state, competitor, and overall clinical knowledge
- Ensure clear, concise, and accurate communication of product information during sales presentations
- Plan and organize daily sales call activities to maximize results
- Demonstrate persistence to accomplish objectives despite disappointments and/or rejection of original efforts
- Ensure all required documentation, reports, etc. are timely and accurate
- Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of Pharmaceutical/Biotech Sales experience with a proven track record of success in sales performance
- Sales experience in Immunology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, and/or rare disease or relevant specialty preferred
- Experience launching new products preferred
- Experience working with specialty pharmacy or limited distribution models a plus
- Ability to think strategically as well as execute tactically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
