Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Care Technician to join our team at St. David's Medical Center. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, providing clear directions and information as needed.
  • Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including physician order entry, chart preparation, and data entry.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing basic patient care, including vital sign collection and medication administration.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform rounding and respond to call lights and patient requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the setup, removal, and cleaning of equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Monitor unit and patient rooms to assess availability of supplies and report any shortages to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
