Key Responsibilities- Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner, providing clear directions and information as needed.
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including physician order entry, chart preparation, and data entry.
- Assist the nursing staff in providing basic patient care, including vital sign collection and medication administration.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform rounding and respond to call lights and patient requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in the setup, removal, and cleaning of equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions.
- Monitor unit and patient rooms to assess availability of supplies and report any shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
