About the Role
CareNow is seeking a skilled Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) to join our team. As an LMRT, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our urgent care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures, including x-rays and other imaging tests, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Conduct quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Process specimens for reference laboratories and maintain accurate records of in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
- Assist with general patient care and ensure occupational clients' preference cards are followed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences.
- Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
- Office Laboratory Assistant License if required by the state.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
