Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Caregiver/Patient Care Technician to join our team at DCMC Rehab Center Cedar Park. As a member of our care team, you'll work closely with our residents to provide exceptional care and support, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, reporting reactions to the care team.
- Restock medication inventories and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying potential hazards and emergency situations, and taking corrective action as needed.
