Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department team at Medical City Arlington. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and driving excellence in emergency services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the Emergency Department's clinical operations, including patient care, resource management, staffing, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborate with the ED leadership team to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental statistics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to ensure quality performance.
Requirements
  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Emergency Department leadership or management.
