Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering calculations and design layouts in compliance with established policies, standards, and codes, demonstrating sound judgment with minimal supervision.
- Utilize practical knowledge and experience to resolve project-related issues and conflicts.
- Make independent decisions regarding engineering tasks and occasionally oversee junior personnel or assist fellow engineers and designers.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of fire code consulting, fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm and detection systems, and smoke control systems.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills and provide leadership to educate clients on design and project requirements.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers and Project Managers to discuss design scope, schedules, budgets, and other project-related issues.
- Prepare design budgets and schedules, estimating the man-hours required for project completion.
- Lead and assign design tasks to designated designers, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Implement system types as directed by the Project Engineer and produce comprehensive construction documents that align with client and project team expectations.
- Conduct final reviews of engineering designs in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure functionality and coordination.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and possession of a professional engineering license.
- Conduct quality assurance on projects in collaboration with technical managers or project engineers.
- Mentor and inspire Engineering Designers at various levels, maintaining high standards of professional integrity and prioritizing the best interests of the company and clients.
- Ability to meet demanding deadlines while ensuring high-quality design outputs.
