- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors during the design and installation stages to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure Compliance with Fire Safety Codes: Ensure that all designs meet fire safety codes, standards, and regulations, prioritizing the safety of people and property.
- Produce Design Specifications: Develop and maintain accurate design specifications, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to the necessary information.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Advancements: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new regulations and industry advancements.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience working as a fire protection designer or engineer.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, AutoSprink, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IBC, NFPA, and FM standards, as well as experience working with Bluebeam or Adobe Pro.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and resolve design or installation issues.
