Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control Tech to join our team at Openwork in Griffin, GA. This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 2pm-11pm and pay ranging from $19.00 to upwards of $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the quality of products by inspecting tanks and enclosures at various stages of production to ensure compliance with build specifications.
  • Document phase inspections for each build and maintain accurate records.
  • Inspect UL Tank builds at different phases of fabrication to verify compliance with UL 142 standards.
  • Scan and organize compliance documentation for job folders.
Additional Duties:
  • Participate in required safety programs and work safely at all times.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience with quality control inspections, strong accountability, and initiative. You should also possess advanced problem-solving skills, drive, and attention to detail.

Education and Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • You must be capable of reading tape measurements and interpreting YES shop drawings.
  • You should have computer skills, including proficiency in Internet Explorer, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • You must be able to comprehend, speak, and write the English language fluently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, both in person and over the phone.
  • You must wear steel toe boots and submit to a background check and drug screen.
