Position Purpose

The Junior Corporate Paralegal will work closely with attorneys and other legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of initial matter documentation.
  • Conduct conflict checks and draft engagement agreements.
  • Compile closing binders and maintain accurate records in both digital and physical formats.
  • Draft, proofread, and format various legal documents, including correspondence and agreements, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Organize and file documents from clients and internal sources into the document management system.
  • Manage expense reimbursements and related financial documentation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to gather necessary information for case management.
  • Support legal assistants and paralegals with various tasks as needed.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • An Associate degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a junior paralegal, particularly in commercial real estate.
  • Experience with conflict checks, engagement letters, and closing binders.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology in real estate.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Docs, Adobe Pro, and Litera.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
