Responsibilities- Support veterinarians in ensuring quality veterinary care and advocating for pets and their families.
- Assist with surgeries, dental procedures, and other medical procedures in accordance with state regulations.
- Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and provide guidance on Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records with the support of our practice systems.
- Obtain relevant health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
- Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members as needed.
- Certified Veterinary Technician/Registered Veterinary Technician or 2+ years of Veterinary Technician experience (direct patient care required).
- Confident with patient anesthesia, dental procedures, and surgical assisting.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well on a team and independently.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with a starting hourly pay rate of $23-$25/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
