Job Title: Veterinary Specialty Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Specialty Technician to join our team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a Veterinary Specialty Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team in delivering high-quality medical services.

Job Summary:

The Veterinary Specialty Technician will work closely with our veterinary team to provide a wide range of services, including anesthesia, surgery, and diagnostic procedures. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patients during surgeries and other medical procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and communicating effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including anesthesia and surgery
  • Administer medications and monitor patients during medical procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare professionals
  • Work closely with the veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of animal experience required
  • At least 2 years of anesthesia experience required
  • Veterinary Technician Certification/Registration required
Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills to provide excellent and efficient patient care
  • Ability to multitask and anticipate needs
  • Excellent communication skills in all areas, including clients, staff, and leadership
  • Great work ethic and positive attitude
Work Environment:

The work environment is predominantly indoors with occasional outdoor exposure when walking patients. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
