Our operations include multiple state-of-the-art greenhouse facilities, with additional regional hubs set to launch soon.

In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring optimal growing conditions within our greenhouses by utilizing data-driven methodologies. Your focus will be on implementing and overseeing environmental strategies that enhance crop yield consistency and quality across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with growers to identify and address climate-related challenges in each greenhouse.
  • Develop and optimize strategies for managing environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, and light exposure.
  • Monitor greenhouse conditions and establish effective reporting mechanisms.
  • Conduct routine assessments of climate control systems.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing energy efficiency and CO2 management, executing sustainability initiatives.
  • Work alongside controls engineers to resolve system-related issues.
  • Integrate new climate control technologies and programs into operations.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish climate program standards and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Horticulture, Floriculture, Biology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with greenhouse environmental control systems.
  • Proven experience in implementing data-driven agricultural strategies.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Background in vegetable crop management.

Work Environment:

  • Position involves extended periods of desk work and computer usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds may be required.
