Job Title: Engineering Test Technician

This is a hands-on position responsible for independently assembling, testing and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic assemblies and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electrical/electronic assemblies and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical/electronic assemblies and systems.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, meters, and various test equipment for effective troubleshooting and diagnosis.
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics for circuit board troubleshooting.
  • Component level troubleshooting ability.
  • Soldering and rework skills a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required for interactions with engineering.
  • Prepare failure analysis reports.
  • Must have strong Windows computer skills and be able to use in-house software to diagnose failed electronic assemblies.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in an electronics engineering/production environment.
