Job Title: Cycle Counter

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cycle Counter to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Cycle Counter, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest level of inventory accuracy and integrity within our facility.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily inventory counts using cycle counting methods, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and monitoring and controlling inventory integrity. You will also provide daily reports on inventory count, adjustments, and discrepancies to management.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily inventory counts to ensure accuracy and integrity using cycle counting methods.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including missing or mislabeled items.
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity by managing adjustments, conducting audits, and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
  • Provide daily reports on inventory count, adjustments, and discrepancies to management.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure that all received and shipped items are accurately recorded in the system.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions and submit reports to management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control or related field in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience with cycle counting methods and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and control principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in using inventory software and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
