About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets in offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpets through dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols when performing tasks.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs or malfunctions to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
  • Utilize leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
