Patient Care Specialist

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this role include
- Delivering high-quality direct patient care by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Focusing on wellness by adopting a patient-centered perspective and applying evidence-based practice.
- Mentoring and supporting new healthcare professionals as they transition into patient care roles at UCHealth.
- Pursuing continuous knowledge growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need
- a Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 6 months of Women and Infants nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in-hand before start date.
