Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assisting registered nurses with patient care activities, maintaining accurate records, and providing critical administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring seamless coordination of care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to continuous enhancement of patient care services

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • American Heart Association BLS certification and certification as a Nurse's Aide (if applicable) strongly desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
