Responsibilities

As a kitchen helper/dietary aide, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the cook in the preparation and service of meals
  • Preparing and delivering food and trays
  • Washing dishes and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen
  • Utilizing protective gear in all appropriate functions
  • Following infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • Positively representing HCSG by following instructions and being courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, and client staff
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • The ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Specialized training in food service is desirable
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • A Food Handler's card
