Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Production Support Engineer to join our team within the IT-Services/Consulting sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of applications built on Java and Windows technology stacks.

Contract Details:
This is a Contract position with a duration of 6 months. The selected candidate will be expected to start promptly.

Location:
Remote work options are available.

Key Responsibilities:
The Production Support Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Managing and monitoring applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilizing advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.
  • Implementing and overseeing Identity Management protocols.
  • Working with Database Technologies, particularly Oracle.
  • Ensuring the security of information through various applications.
  • Employing monitoring technologies and tools such as Splunk, Horizon, Ansible Tower, and BladeLogic.
  • Applying strong analytical skills to solve complex problems.
  • Understanding network technologies and risk integration into threat modeling.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Linux/UNIX, Container technologies, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Tivoli, and AppDynamics.

Additional Information:
This position requires the candidate to work on a W2 basis. Relocation expenses will not be covered, and travel is not a requirement for this role. Local candidates are preferred.
