Job Overview:The A&P Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our aircraft by performing routine maintenance and repairs. This includes identifying when maintenance is required, reporting inoperative equipment, maintaining general hand tools, approving aircraft for return to service, and adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P authorizations, experience with Garmin avionics installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as knowledge of Grant GOM, OpSpecs, GMM, and AAIP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft
- Identify when maintenance occurs where RII inspections are required
- Report inoperative or faulty shop equipment
- Maintain adequate general hand tools
- Approve aircraft for return to service
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with A&P authorizations
- Experience with Garmin avionics installation
- Knowledge of Grant GOM, OpSpecs, GMM, and AAIP
