Job Description

As a Lead Aircraft Technician at Excellent Wingman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our aircraft maintenance services.

The successful candidate will have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant rated Aircraft Maintenance Technician License and at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role. A strong understanding of aviation regulations and excellent communication skills are essential.

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility with working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aircraft maintenance technical services provided by AMT staff.
  • Represent the company in daily interactions with customers, airport officials, regulatory agencies, and other interested parties.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Identify operational needs and participate in the formation of plans to address them.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant rated Aircraft Maintenance Technician License.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably.
  • Able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Self-motivated, team player.
