Position Overview
AgFirst is seeking a dedicated Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Manager to enhance our risk management framework and ensure the integrity of our operations. This role is essential in establishing robust policies and governance structures while providing insightful risk advisory services that align with our business objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
As the TPRM Manager, you will:
- Develop and maintain a risk-based framework for managing third-party vendors, focusing on those that pose significant risks to AgFirst's operational goals.
- Lead initiatives to refine and enhance the TPRM framework, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while balancing risk and reward.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of third-party vendors, categorized by service criticality, risk levels, and other pertinent attributes to effectively manage vendor relationships.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, evaluating factors such as information security, compliance, financial stability, and operational resilience.
- Implement ongoing monitoring processes to track changes in vendor risk profiles, ensuring timely updates to risk assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive reports that present key risk metrics and insights to senior management, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Identify and address risks related to vendor concentration and dependencies, including those arising from fourth-party relationships, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance awareness of third-party risks among stakeholders, empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Oversee vendor communications regarding procurement processes, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as IT or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of the TPRM lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, due diligence, and offboarding processes.
- Expertise in identifying and managing third-party risks, including operational, financial, and cybersecurity risks.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with management and stakeholders.
- Proficient in identifying compliance gaps and implementing corrective measures.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
- Commitment to regular attendance and punctuality.
