Alhambra Hospital is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Patient Access Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare admissions department.
  • In-depth understanding of capitation agreements, patient eligibility, and financial obligations.
  • Knowledgeable in Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, Workers' Compensation, and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
  • Proficient in various patient registration and billing systems.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Typing proficiency of 40-50 words per minute.
  • Current BCLS certification is mandatory.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
