Alhambra Hospital is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Patient Access Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare admissions department.
- In-depth understanding of capitation agreements, patient eligibility, and financial obligations.
- Knowledgeable in Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, Workers' Compensation, and related regulations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
- Proficient in various patient registration and billing systems.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Typing proficiency of 40-50 words per minute.
- Current BCLS certification is mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
