We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at The Tri-M Group, LLC. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the layout and installation of various commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with and ensure compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.
- Work from construction drawings (i.e., electrical, mechanical, architectural, etc.)
- Install branch systems, distribution systems, lighting systems, motor, power and control systems, special electrical systems, and underground systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems utilizing appropriate test equipment.
- Conduct on-the-job training of apprentices.
- Safeguard and maintain Company equipment, material, tools, and vehicles.
- Requisition materials as needed.
- Administer small projects as assigned and work as second in charge on larger projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Minimum of six years' experience in the electrical or building automations trade and/or completion of a state-approved apprenticeship program.
- Satisfactorily perform tasks at or above Journeyperson level.
- Ability to properly lay out and administer small jobs (normally one to six men).
- Good working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Confident, decisive, self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive professional attitude.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location/office.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Basic level computer literacy including word processing, working with spreadsheets, processing emails, and data entry.
- Ability to work required overtime to complete project(s) within required deadline.
- Ability to read, understand, and effectively apply construction drawings, specifications, and electrical schematics and makes effective independent decisions when scope of work deviates.
- Ability and willingness to drive company vehicles as needed.
