Job Summary

Volt is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with production and manufacturing teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all stages of production comply with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will collect samples of raw materials and finished products for microbiological, chemical, and physical testing. You will maintain detailed records of quality control tests, inspections, and findings to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will also monitor and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of related experience in the Food Manufacturing industry or a related field. You will have an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will be proficient with computer systems and documentation. You will be comfortable overseeing a team of employees and addressing concerns directly. You will be able to take corrective actions and pay close attention to details. You will also be able to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
