Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the accounting team, including financial reporting, balance sheet, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with accounting management for financial reporting, balance sheet, and forecasting.
  • Assist the accounts payable and receivable departments with payments, deposits, account reconciliations, and general ledger.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and prepare yearly audit schedules.
  • Perform month-end closing tasks, including preparing journal entries and participating in special projects.
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including month-end close, preparing all journal entries, and financial reporting.
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and deposits.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Process monthly sales tax returns.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits, working closely with auditors and providing necessary documentation and schedules.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
