What to anticipate:

  1. Engage with clients' executive teams and auditors, acting as a subject matter expert to navigate complex accounting challenges and reach informed conclusions.
  2. Lead client engagements and oversee the delivery of operational due diligence for intricate transactions, such as IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, and debt financing.
  3. Ensure client deliverables of financial and regulatory information align with SEC and regulatory standards, including 10K's, 10Q's, S-1 and S-4 filings, and audit coordination.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on projects concerning new ASC accounting standards.
  5. Drive process enhancement initiatives and implement necessary changes.
  6. Mentor managers and consultants, serving as a moral and ethical role model, fostering professional growth within the engagement team, and providing constructive feedback.
  7. Lead firm-wide initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Play an integral role in the firm's recruitment efforts, client relationship management, and business development strategies.

Your qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting – a CPA and/or MBA combined with substantial accounting experience may substitute for a degree in Accounting.
  2. Over eight years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to integrate seamlessly into teams.
  4. Strong technical acumen and a comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
  5. Proactive in recognizing client needs and adept at building robust client relationships.
  6. Highly organized and focused, demonstrating the ability to set clear engagement expectations and direction.
  7. Effective analytical and critical thinking skills.
  8. Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven, ethical, and reliable.
  9. High energy and a commitment to delivering quality client service, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes in challenging situations.

CFGI is committed to providing our employees with comprehensive and inclusive total compensation packages. Compensation packages are determined by various factors, including the specific role and level, location, and the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications. The estimated base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $185,000. Alongside base compensation, CFGI offers a competitive benefits package and various bonus programs and incentives based on individual performance.
