  • Support mathematical modeling activities, transitioning additional tasks from physical testing to mathematical models and data analysis.
  • Mentor and train new engineers, fostering their professional development.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in automotive engineering with a focus on engine systems.
  • A strong commitment to achieving results.
  • Exceptional planning and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work independently and collaboratively with others, fostering peer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively, working autonomously with minimal guidance.
  • Proficient in computer systems and data acquisition technologies.
  • Experience in data analysis to enhance testing or modeling outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for offsite evaluations (minimal travel required).

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with AVL PUMA/IndiCom/CAMEO and ETAS INCA software.
  • Experience with propulsion system calibration in both testing and vehicle environments.
  • Knowledge and over 10 years of experience with diesel combustion system interactions, engine testing, calibration, single-cylinder engine operations, or hardware development.
  • Experience in engine dynamometer setup and testing.
  • Understanding of government testing cycles (e.g., FTP, US06, WLTP, RDE).
  • Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.

Work Environment: Hybrid work model with a focus on laboratory activities.

Contract Duration: Long-term engagement.
