HiL Validation Engineer

  • Collaborate closely with feature owners, engineering teams, and suppliers to gain a comprehensive understanding of vehicle functionalities.
  • Design test strategies aimed at early defect detection and validation of defect resolution.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are vital for gathering engineering requirements and documenting testing solutions.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with a focus on organization and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Interpersonal skills to effectively navigate cross-functional teams with varying priorities.
  • Capability to manage urgent situations and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and tackle complex engineering challenges.
  • Decision-making skills with minimal supervision and limited information.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in automotive software development or validation.
  • 5 years of experience with software development life cycles, including CMMI and agile methodologies.
  • 5 years of expertise in software testing or quality assurance practices.
  • 5 years of validation support experience with dSPACE or NI HiL simulators.
  • 3 years of experience in testing support for ADAS/DAT features.
  • 2 years of experience implementing agile practices using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE).
  • Functional knowledge of ASPICE SW development processes and ISO26262 functional safety standards.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
