Service Advisor Opportunity at Quality Equipment

We are a John Deere dealer with 36 locations serving a diverse group of agricultural, commercial, and residential customers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. At Quality Equipment, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our customers, our employees, and our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field internal and external customer inquiries for the Service Department
  • Open and maintain work orders until they are closed and invoiced
  • Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from the customer work orders
  • Maintain service accessories and supplies and prepare replacement orders when necessary
  • Prepare warranty and/or product improvement for submission by the Central Warranty Administrator
  • Assist customers with mower or equipment loading/unloading when necessary
  • Close and process RO's for payment when needed
  • Assist technicians and provide part service, including parts lookup, pulling parts from parts stock, and processing MD orders (where applicable)
  • Assist on the parts counter when necessary
  • Assist with loading/unloading trucks when necessary (where applicable)
  • Assist in staging equipment to be brought in/out of the service department and maintaining the lot for ease of customer pick up and delivery by branch drivers
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications, such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Knowledge of office procedures
  • General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift
