Providence Health & Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center.
About the Role:As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Assisting with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of licensed nurses
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Coursework or training in Medical Terminology
- Current National Provider BLS certification
- 6 months of healthcare experience (preferred)
