Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Assist with vital sign measurements, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Help with patient transfers and mobility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- 6 months Health care experience.
