We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Assist with vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Help with mobility and transfers, such as getting patients in and out of bed.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, such as feeding patients and helping them drink from a cup.
- Coursework/Training - Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- 6 months - Health care experience.
