Job Summary:

The Athletic Director will oversee the development and implementation of the athletic program at Charter School Associates. This includes supervising equipment inventories, preparing a master sports calendar, and coordinating athletic field use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive athletic program that aligns with the school's mission and goals.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of coaches, athletic staff, and volunteers.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for athletic programs and events.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for teams and athletes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for athletic programs, including eligibility, conduct, and safety.
  • Collaborate with coaches, staff, and administrators to ensure a positive and inclusive athletic experience for all students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, athletic associations, and community organizations to promote the athletic program.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to athletics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, sports management, or a related field.
  • Administrative and/or coaching experience in a school setting.
  • Florida certification in the subject area required.
