We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Director to join our team at Charter School Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the school's athletic programs, ensuring compliance with FHSAA rules and regulations, and providing leadership and support to coaches and athletes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement athletic programs that promote student engagement and academic achievement
- Supervise and coordinate athletic events, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodations
- Manage athletic budgets and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
- Provide coaching and mentoring to athletic staff and students
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, community organizations, and athletic associations
- Ensure compliance with FHSAA rules and regulations, including eligibility and sportsmanship
- Coordinate athletic training and medical services for student-athletes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for athletic programs
- Provide leadership and support to athletic staff and students
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. education, sports management)
- Florida certification in the subject area
- Minimum 3 years of experience in athletic administration or coaching
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of FHSAA rules and regulations
