Charter School Associates Athletic Director Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Athletic Director to lead our school's athletic programs. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of athletics, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management. The successful candidate will have a strong background in coaching and administration, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement athletic programs that promote student-athlete success and well-being
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise coaching staff and support personnel
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective program operations
  • Coordinate scheduling, transportation, and accommodations for teams and events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with schools, conference, and league officials
  • Ensure compliance with district and state regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for athletic program operations
  • Provide leadership and guidance to coaching staff and student-athletes
  • Attend and participate in conferences, workshops, and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, sports management)
  • At least 3 years of experience in athletic administration or coaching
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of district and state regulations and policies
