Job Summary:

The Athletic Director will oversee the development and implementation of the school's athletic program, ensuring compliance with FHSAA rules and regulations. This position will be responsible for coordinating athletic events, supervising equipment and facilities, and providing support to coaches and athletes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the school's athletic program, including scheduling, budgeting, and personnel management.
  • Coordinate athletic events, including home and away games, meets, and contests.
  • Supervise equipment and facilities, including maintenance and inventory management.
  • Provide support to coaches and athletes, including training, guidance, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with FHSAA rules and regulations, including eligibility and conduct.
  • Manage athletic records, including rosters, schedules, and statistics.
  • Plan and coordinate pep rallies and award assemblies.
  • Assume leadership in the development of the Varsity and Junior Varsity programs.
  • Attend athletic conferences and meetings, and stay up-to-date on industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science with administrative and/or coaching experience required.
  • Florida certification in the subject area required.
