Position Overview: As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Penn Foster Inc, you will leverage your technical acumen to oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, assess risks, manage timelines, and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in program management.
  • Proven experience in software development and operating systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and release management.
  • Experience in vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technology programs, defining milestones, success criteria, resource allocation, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Exercise technical judgment while collaborating with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Develop tools and processes aimed at enhancing software engineering productivity.
  • Communicate project schedules, priorities, and status updates to all organizational levels.

About the Role: In this capacity, you will be instrumental in driving projects of varying sizes and scopes, identifying future opportunities, enhancing processes, and steering the technical direction of your programs. You will be equally adept at articulating your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are at discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Compensation: The compensation package for this full-time position includes a competitive salary, bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
