As a School Safety Officer, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate safe crossings for students, parents, and school personnel at designated locations. You will engage with the community, including parents and children, to promote a secure environment.
Position Overview:
In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding children as they navigate their way to and from school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide pedestrians safely across designated intersections or crosswalks.
- Monitor traffic conditions and halt vehicles as necessary to ensure safe crossings.
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and drivers to enhance safety.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Compensation:
School Safety Officers earn a competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for additional earnings based on shift availability.
Qualifications:
- Preferred candidates will reside in the local area for prompt response times.
