As a Client Services Associate in Trust Management, you will engage in a variety of tasks aimed at supporting Trust Wealth Advisors, Investment Advisors, and clients with their account management and operational needs. Your strong communication abilities and trust experience will be essential in fostering a professional atmosphere that encourages continuous skill enhancement and career progression within the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily activities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following:
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external clients, utilizing both verbal and written formats.
- Draft client correspondence under the guidance of Advisors.
- Prepare and present materials for current clients.
- Proactively anticipate the needs of clients and Advisors, addressing issues with appropriate guidance.
- Manage accounts from initiation to closure, promptly notifying Advisors of significant changes or concerns.
- Assist Advisors in conducting annual client reviews and resolving account discrepancies with their support.
- Uphold service standards, including COI activities and other essential outreach efforts.
- Provide office support during emergency situations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly in word processing and spreadsheets (Word, Excel).
- Self-driven and reliable.
- Ability to learn new trust systems and technologies.
- Capable of making independent decisions within the framework established by the Wealth Management & Trust Department.
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of personnel and clients.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and business writing conventions.
- Proficient in developing and applying problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and organize workload effectively.
- Capable of functioning independently in a multi-tasking environment, as well as collaborating within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with investment, fiduciary, and estate planning concepts is advantageous.
- Previous experience in a trust department or related field is beneficial.
