Job Title: Trust Client Services Associate

As a Trust Client Services Associate at Stock Yards Bank & Trust, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our Trust Wealth Advisors, Investment Advisors, and clients. Your day will be filled with opportunities to assist with account relationship activities and business operations, utilizing your strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external clients, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external clients, verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Client Support: Draft client communications with guidance from Advisor, prepare presentations for existing clients, and anticipate client and Advisor needs in all situations, resolving issues with guidance from Advisor.
  • Account Maintenance: Maintain accounts from set up to closing, appropriately alerting Advisor of important changes and/or issues.
  • Advisor Support: Assist Advisors with required client annual reviews and clearing exceptions on accounts, with guidance from Advisor.
  • Service Standard Activities: Maintain service standard activities, COI activities, and other required calling activities.
  • Office Coverage: Provide office coverage and support in emergency situations.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer application skills in word processing and spreadsheets (Word, Excel).
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to learn trust system and new technology.
  • Decision Making: Independent decision making ability within limits set by the Wealth Management & Trust Department.
  • Communication: Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel and clients.
  • Grammar and Spelling: Professional grammar, spelling, and business writing skills.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to develop and implement problem-solving skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize and organize work.
  • Teamwork: Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented.
  • Professional Appearance: Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of investment, fiduciary, and estate planning concepts is a plus.
  • Work Experience: Work experience in a trust department or related field is a plus.
