A leading home builder is seeking an experienced Residential Project Controller to join their growing team.

**Job Summary:**

The Residential Project Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role will also involve preparing financial statements and reports for management, monitoring cash flow, and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and oversee the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management
  • Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Manage payroll, employee benefits, and HR functions
  • Oversee insurance policies and manage claims
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax accountants
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management

**Requirements:**

  • 3+ years experience as a controller, or 5+ years experience as an assistant controller or accounting manager
  • Proficient in all aspects of construction accounting such as journal entries, general ledger, AP/AR
  • HR experience is a huge plus
  • Must have experience with Quickbooks
  • Property and Liability Insurance experience preferred
  • Local/hybrid position - ability to manage people virtually
