Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the multi-brand strategy for retail locations, ensuring optimal product availability and assortment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop a comprehensive retail assortment plan across various categories.
- Engage with brand partners to maintain stock levels and enhance brand visibility within our retail outlets.
- Establish and nurture relationships with third-party suppliers to procure cannabis products effectively.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging products to enhance our retail offerings.
- Drive sales growth by achieving established sales and gross margin targets.
- Work closely with finance teams to set and meet purchasing budgets based on sales forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing and inventory management.
- Coordinate promotional events to maximize sales opportunities during peak periods.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding order statuses and modifications.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail purchasing.
- Strong analytical skills and financial knowledge, particularly in managing purchasing budgets.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- A proven ability to create compelling product assortments across multiple categories.
- Experience collaborating with manufacturing and product development teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Physical Requirements:
This role may require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and up to 75 pounds with assistance, along with the capacity to stand or walk for extended periods.
