Market Development Specialist

Purple Inc is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Wholesale division, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue expansion through strategic account management and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute market-level sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase Purple's Balance of Share (BOS)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and national account teams, providing training and support to ensure successful product adoption
  • Conduct store visits and training sessions to educate Retail Sales Associates (RSAs) on Purple products and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication of corporate initiatives and field insights
  • Design and execute sales incentive programs to drive top-performing sales associate engagement and revenue growth
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in indirect customer sales
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven history of success in developing and implementing market-level sales strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel daily within market, overnight and airline travel required
